WMZQ Fall Fest 2016 – October 1st

Celebrate the kick off to the Fall season at Jiffy Lube Live taking in some world class county music by Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses at this year’s WMZQ Fall Fest.

Swan Lake presented by the Russian Ballet – October 1st

See the full length classic production of the world’s most famous ballet, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, featuring Russia’s brightest ballet stars! Plan your date or family night out taking in this unique show at the Hylton Performing Arts Center.

34th Annual Manassas Fall Jubilee – October 1st

Celebrate the season with live music, pumpkins, crafts, food, games and more at the 34th Annual Manassas Fall Jubilee. The event is free to attend, so spend the day picking your pumpkins and exploring the unique shops and vendors you will find there.

Fall Migration Bird Walk at Julie J. Metz Neabsco Creek Wetlands – October 8th

Steins, Wines & Spirits Festival – October 9th

Sample your choice of delicious hand crafted beverage while listening to live bluegrass music at the Harris Pavilion in Historic Downtown Manassas from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm. The festival will feature great food from some of the best food trucks in Northern VA. Tickets are $30 per person ($35 at the door) or 2 for $50.  Each entrance pass includes 8 tasting tickets. The VIP ticket for $90 gets you access to a special tasting tent with guaranteed seating and additional tastings including food pairings. Non-taster tickets will be sold for $20. You can find plenty of parking downtown and will be held rain or shine!

Trucktoberfest – October 15th

Insane Inflatables 5K – October 15th

PetOberfest at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center – October 15th

Picnic with Painters at Liberia Plantation – October 16th

Join the shops of Historic Occoquan in a spooky scavenger hunt and enter to win a life size Victorian Halloween figure to add to your haunting home décor. You can pick up an entry form at any participating shop, which will be flying black and orange balloons. Find all of the six Halloween figures pictured on your entry form and be entered to win.

On-Going Tours in October:

Weems-Botts Museum: Take a tour of one of the most haunted homes in Virginia every Friday and Saturday in October. Linger for while after the tour to enjoy hot chocolate and a campfire, or spend the night in the museum.
