11/5/17 – Stogie Sunday at Tin Cannon Brewing Co. – (Gainesville, VA)

Stogie Sunday is made possible by Tobaccology, who come out to sell you their fine cigars while you sip Tin Cannon’s delicious beer! Spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon on the patio and chat with cigar expert, Prem, to find the perfect stogie to pair with our refreshing craft beer!

11/5/17 – Charity Chili Cookoff at Growling Bear Brewery – (Woodbridge, VA)

Join the Growling Bear Brewery Team for their Chili Cookoff event benefiting Paws of Honor on Sunday 11/5/17 at 4pm.  It is free to enter your recipe and only $5.00 to taste and judge!

11/10/17 – Karaoke at Heroic Aleworks – (Woodbridge, VA)

11/11/17 – Detox to Retox Beer & Yoga at Brew Republic – (Woodbridge, VA)

11/18/17 – 2nd Annual Thrashgiving Metal Benefit Show at BadWolf Brewing Co. (Manassas, VA)

Bring your canned food donations and get ready for a hard rocking day of live music from 7 local heavy metal bands. Proceeds to be donated to Operation Turkey at Northern VA Family Services Hunger Resource Center Food Bank to help provide Thanksgiving meals to families in the Northern VA area.


11/3/17 – A Civil War Soldier’s Campfire at Ben Lomond Historic Site - (Manassas, VA)

Enjoy a warm campfire at Ben Lomond Historic Site and learn how Confederate soldiers lived during the American Civil War. Practice drilling with a Civil War soldier, see a musket firing demonstration, and learn about the rations given to Confederate soldiers. Try the cornpone that Confederate soldiers commonly ate during the Civil War and compare it to the s’mores we enjoy today.

11/4/17 – Paranormal 101 at Brentsville Courthouse Historic Center – (Bristow, VA)

Brentsville has a diverse history from being a County seat for Prince William County to being a quiet town. Today, many local residents claim that the jail, courthouse and grounds are haunted by spirits from the past. Brentsville Courthouse Historic Centre is partnering with East Coast Research and Investigation of the Paranormal (ECRIP) to host a paranormal seminar and investigation at Brentsville.

11/4/17 – Bridal Expo at Potomac Mills Mall – (Woodbridge, VA)

Meet with wedding vendors who will make your special day just as you dream. Let them take some stress off your plate while you get questions answered and learn about new wedding trends! Event on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 12pm-4pm in Grand Court/TJMaxx.

11/9/17 – Ben Hunter & Joe Seamons at Hylton Performing Arts Center – (Manassas, VA)

Ben Hunter and Joe Seamons This performance is part of the American Roots Series. November 9, 2017 at 8:00 pm Gregory Family Theater This Northwest roots and blues music duo shares an undeniable musical kinship and sense of joy in their interpretation of American roots music. 

11/11/17 – Festival of Food Trucks – (Manassas, VA)

Festival of Food Trucks will kick off at 12 noon with our favorite guy in Red....arriving in a Super Car! That's right, Santa is giving Rudolph the day off! Enjoy cuisine from the DMV's BEST food trucks, a holiday shopping market & more! 

11/11/17 – 11/12/17 - US Classic Orienteering Championships – (Quantico, VA)

Everyone is invited to come out and experience the excitement of orienteering at a National Championship event on the debut maps of some of the finest orienteering terrain in the Mid-Atlantic region. The 2017 U.S. Classic Champs will be the first events ever in two newly mapped areas of the Marine Corps Base Quantico

11/17/17 – Christmas Tree Lighting in Historic Occoquan – (Occoquan, VA)

Spend the day getting some of your holiday shopping done early and stay late to ring in the holiday season in this small historic mill town for their annual holiday tree lighting celebration.

11/18/17 – Guided Hiking Tours at Cockpit Point Park – (Dumfries, VA)

Join the PW County Historic Preservation team on a special tour of Prince William County’s newest historic park, Cockpit Point Civil War Park. Tours of the site will take place at 10 a.m., 1p.m. and 3p.m. Reservations are required for the tours. Tours will include difficult terrain and off trail style hiking. 11/26/17 – Chanticleer A Chanticleer Christmas at Hylton Performing Arts Center – (Manassas, VA)

“The world’s reigning male chorus” (The New Yorker) kicks off the holiday season at the Hylton Center with a concert of a capella voices that includes classical music and popular holiday favorites.
