Saturday, 10/28/2017 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Sponsored by Prince William Conservation Alliance and Prince William Streams and Trails Coalition Ten years ago we led the first hike down the Occoquan Greenway Trail from McCoart Government Center to the Town of Occoquan, beginning a community effort to improve conditions and open the trail to the public. Today, about 2.4 miles of contiguous trail is available for hiking, from Lake Ridge Park to Cotton Mill Drive. On October 28, we will hike about 7 miles, beginning at Lake Ridge Park and ending in the Town of Occoquan about three hours later. Transportation back to your car at Lake Ridge Park is provided. The trail surfaces include well-established natural surfaces, cleared paths in the woods, blacktop paths, sidewalks along streets and fair-weather stream crossings, which may include some steep banks. Please dress accordingly – we recommend long pants, sturdy hiking shoes, a hat and long socks. Bring a bag lunch, plenty of water, binoculars, and a camera to capture the beautiful scenery along the way! Click here to read about previous hikes.

Radio Bingo

Thursday, 10/05/2017 7:00 PM - Sunday, 12/31/2017 9:00 PM

ONLY THURSDAY NIGHTS: Get a bingo card and a glass of beer (or wine) and keep your ears peeled for songs listed on your card. Do you have the music recognition skills to outlast the competition? You could win major awards! It’s more fun than should be allowed on a Thursday night… but it is… we checked. We’ll rotate the genres each week (Hip Hop; Country; Pop; Rock; Decades). Here’s how it works: You get a bingo card with your initial purchase of a beer or wine, and additional cards can be purchased for $2 each. The proceeds from the additional cards will go to support wounded warriors through Azalea Charities. Music will play over the speakers, and if you correctly identify the song, and it is on your card, you mark that song. If you get 5 in a row before everyone else, you’ll win a major award. And as an added twist, if two or more people get bingo at the same time, we’ll have a dance-off to determine the winner (by popular vote of course). Visit the taproom every Thursday night 7-9pm to join the fun! Attachments

Citizen's Choice Randall (Beer Infusion) Day

Wednesday, 10/04/2017 3:00 PM - Sunday, 12/31/2017 7:00 PM

ONLY WEDNESDAY NIGHTS: Have any great ideas of what would go great infused into beer? Maybe chocolate and strawberries infused into our oatmeal stout; or mangoes and habanero peppers into our VAIPA? Let us know what flavor-enhancing ingredients (like fruit, coffee beans, spices, tootsie rolls, whatever else) you think would go well with one of our beers on drought. We’ll take the best ideas and create a poll each week for other citizens to vote on. The top choice each week will be featured in our taproom on Wednesdays (4-7pm) and the citizen submitting the winning idea will get a sample of the beer they concocted. Have your ideas submitted before Saturday of each week so voting can start Sundays. Submissions made after Saturdays will be considered for the next poll. Attachments
