Gregory Family Theater Inspired by The Romancers by Edmond Rostand, The Fantasticks tells the charming musical tale of a boy, a girl, their parents, and the wall that keeps the lovers apart. The narrator, El Gallo, takes the audience on a magical journey as the boy and girl fall in love, grow apart, and discover the truth that "without a hurt, the heart is hollow." Brew Republic Frat Party

501st Garrison Tyranus Meet N Greet

Calling all Star Wars fans and cosplay enthusiasts! Have you ever had aspirations to join the Empire? Interested in learning how to build your own Stormtrooper, Vader, or other Imperial costume? Then join us March 11th, 2017 from 7-10 pm for a Meet N Greet with the 501st Legion Garrison Tyranus. Yes - these are folks you always see at comic cons, and even at Renaissance Festival, in those amazing costumes! They’ll be on hand to go over the requirements on how to join, show off some of Vader's Finest, and explain how the 501st can benefit the community and local charities in Virginia and around the world. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the Travis Manion Foundation, an organization that empowers veterans and the families of fallen heroes to develop character in future generations. POSTPONED: Cockpit Point Marker Dedication and Tours

Updated 3/9/2017: Event marked as postponed http://www.pwcgov.org/government/dept/publicworks/hp/pages/historic-preservation-events.aspx Join us as we dedicate a new Civil War Trails marker at our newest historic park, Cockpit Point Civil War Park. Ribbon cutting ceremony and living history program. Dedication program will take place at 18245 Cockpit Point Rd., Dumfries, VA. Marker is located at the end of Cockpit Point Road. Tours of the site will take place at 11a.m., 1p.m. and 3p.m. Reservations are required for the tours. Tours will include difficult terrain and off trail style hiking.
