Movies Under the Stars-Jaws

Woodbridge Beer Fest

Join us and our friends from other breweries for the first annual Woodbridge Beer Fest on Saturday, May 27th from 11am-5pm. The festival will be held along the Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center boulevard, between REI and Starbucks. More details will be published as they become available, but go ahead and mark your calendars now. We are bringing the craft beer to you! Participating breweries (so far): - Adventure Brewing Company - BadWolf Brewing Company - Brew Republic Bierwerks - Fairwinds Brewing Company - Forge Brew Works - Growling Bear Brewing Company - Heroic Aleworks - Ornery Beer Company - Port City Brewing Company - Tin Cannon Brewing Company - Waters End Brewing Company - ... and we will have some wine options too! There will also be food vendors, live music and other entertainment. Kids are welcome, but will not be able to consume alcohol. In fact, nobody gets to consume alcohol without a wrist band. There are rules. We will have a wine table so you can bring your wine drinking friends along to enjoy the merriment! Each adult ticket includes wrist band (for drinking), a commemorative glass, and 12 six-ounce pour beer/wine tickets (beer pours = 1 ticket; wine pours = 2 tickets). Tickets can also be used for root beer and bottled water if you so choose. Each kid ticket includes a plastic cup and all you can drink house-made Brew Republic root beer from the tap, and bottled water. Kid tickets are NOT required for kids to attend. Additional beer/wine tickets can be purchased for $3 a piece to those with wrist bands. EventBrite advanced sale ticket prices are $40 per adult, $5 for kids (plus tax) when bundled with 2 or more tickets. Individual advanced sale tickets are $41 per adult, $6 for kids (plus tax). Day of event tickets at the gate will cost $45 for adults and $6 for kids, plus sales tax. VIP TICKETS are also available: For $20, you can upgrade your experience and be treated like a rockstar! You'll get access to the VIP tent, exclusive beers that are only in the VIP tent, one hour early entrance to the festival, compimentary water/soda, a $5 food coupon at Brew Republic, and a cool and shaded place to sit and hang out with brewers and brewery personnel (and other VIPs). The VIP Ticket is only valid with the purchase of a regular Adult Ticket. More details to come. Stay tuned!

Bristoe Station Battlefield Heritage Park Tours

Bristoe Station Battlefield staff and volunteers will provide guided tours of the hallowed grounds that contain camps, cemeteries, and battlefields. Learn about Camp Jones and the battles that took place in 1862 and 1863. Tours begin on the hour and depart from the kiosk in the parking lot on Iron Brigade Unit Avenue. The last tour leaves at 3PM. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Insect repellant is encouraged. No pets please. Attachments

Yoga on the Lawn at Rippon Lodge

Enjoy performing yoga on the lawn with amazing views of the Potomac River and historic Rippon Lodge in the background. No one could ask for a better outdoor venue to exercise. Join certified instructor Christopher Glowacki for an hour long Vinyasa yoga practice. Beginning yoga students to well-versed devotes are welcomed. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, towel and plenty of water; beginners may want to bring a block and/or strap. Classes are offered most Saturday mornings from May to September. Call Rippon Lodge to confirm class day and times. Those purchasing 10 classes will receive punch cards which are good for the whole season. Additional classes may be purchased at any time. Adult Novice Rowing Camp

Looking for a new sport, or just a fun activity? Rowing might be for you! Come find out what it’s all about with Prince William Rowing Club, a masters (adult) competitive and recreational rowing club for men and women in Prince William County! For two weeks, each Novice Camp boat of eight will go out on the water with four experienced rowers and four novice rowers. Rowing with the experienced rowers will allow the novices to leapfrog ahead in the learning process and gain a better feel of the potential that rowing offers. If you love rowing as much as we think you will, we hope you will join us for the entire rowing season! The Novice Camp program consists of six total sessions, Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-8 p.m. and Saturdays 8-10 a.m., May 23-June 3. Cost is $125. Register online. Attachments
