Free Concert - Life, Love & Music

Woodbridge Community Choir presents its annual spring concert series celebrating “Life, Love & Music”, and as always, these concerts are FREE to the public. Osprey Observation

During the spring and summer, osprey dominate the skies over Leesylvania as they build nests and raise their young. Join a ranger to get a closer look at these feathered fishermen. 1st Annual Ale Harvest at Eavesdrop Brewery

Join us for our Grand Opening and 1st Annual Ale Harvest festival! The Ale Harvest is an annual event where we celebrate the past year through beer, food, and harvest! Each year we will choose an ingredient that grows on our grounds - that ingredient will go into a special beer that ages for a year and is released at the following Ale Harvest. This year the crop is basil! At the event, you can expect: - Guest beers from the breweries we've collaborated with - Delicious food from hand selected food trucks - Live music from a local band - A basil harvest (you're encouraged to participate!) General admission is free to all. We will be selling beer tickets at the door for $4/ticket. These tickets will be good for an 8oz pour of any beer at the festival. There will be no growler fills for the duration of this event. Pond Play!

Kids Pizza Party

Clean the Bay Day/National Trails Day

10 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Join us as we support the annual effort to clean the Chesapeake Bay by removing trash from its tributary rivers and streams. Be sure to wear bug spray, sunscreen, clothes and closed toed shoes that you don't mind getting muddy. 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Lend us a hand and learn what it takes to keep trails clear and safe for park guests to hike on. We'll be getting our hands dirty as we work with tools to recapture a trail from forest growth and soil erosion from Japanese stiltgrass. Please bring work gloves and don't forget to wear clothes and closed toed shoes you don't mind getting dirty. Will have a bonfire to burn the invasive plants that you pulled and s'mores to replenish you from all the hard work that you did. For more information please call 703-583-6904. Attachments

Occoquan Arts and Crafts Show

Yoga on the Lawn

Enjoy performing yoga on the lawn with amazing views of the Potomac River and historic Rippon Lodge in the background. No one could ask for a better outdoor venue to exercise. Join certified instructor Christopher Glowacki for an hour-long Vinyasa yoga practice. Beginning yoga students to well versed devotes are welcomed. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, towel and plenty of water; beginners may want to bring a block and/or strap. Classes offered most Saturday morning from June to October. Call Rippon Lodge to confirm class day and times. Those purchasing 10 classes will receive punch cards, which are good for the whole season. Attachments

Two-week Adult Novice Rowing Camp

Join Prince William Rowing Club (an adult/masters rowing club) on the water for six sessions of rowing! Participants will learn basic rowing technique, in boats mixed with both novices and experienced rowers. This is a fantastic opportunity to try out rowing before signing up for PWRC’s novice season-long program.
