Potomac Nationals vs. Wilmington Blue Rocks

After a long, hard work week, it's Saturday night at the ballpark as the P-Nats continue their set with the Blue Rocks (Royals affiliate), and there is a lot going on here tonight. The team will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic minor league baseball movie BULL DURHAM. Actor Robert Wuhl, who played the pitching coach in the movie, will be on hand to sign autographs. among other themed promotions for the night. The team will also be giving away a Victor Robles (2016-2017 P-Nat) "ROB JOB" bobblehead, depicting him robbing a HR ball. Scouts will be able to stay after the game to pitch a tent and spend the night on the field after the game, while watching a movie. Also, kids will be invited to stay after the game to run the bases. To wrap up the night, there will be postgame fireworks. Attachments

Osprey Observation

Goat Yoga + Live Music and MTO Kombucha at The Little Goat Farm

Goat Yoga will make you HAPPY! Join us for an hour of mellow yoga suitable for all levels at Little Goat Farm at the Lake Farm in Nokesville, VA, located about 40 minutes West of DC. Friendly goats and alpacas will roam among us while we enjoy a lakeside yoga practice. The goats are curious and interested in climbing and interacting with people. If you're not a yoga practitioner, don't worry. You can sit by the lake, enjoy the view, and interact with the farm animals. There will also be live music, provided by Broad Run String Band! Canoe Tour at Leesylvania

Our canoe tours are designed to help those that are new to canoeing to learn the basics of paddling. Experienced individuals are also encouraged to come to enjoy the wildlife and scenic views. Yoga on the Lawn

Join certified instructor Christopher Glowacki for an hour-long Vinyasa yoga practice. Beginning yoga students to well versed devotes are welcomed. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, towel and plenty of water; beginners may want to bring a block and/or strap. Classes offered most Saturday morning from June to October. Home School Day at the Weems-Botts Museum

The Weems-Botts Museum welcomes area home school families to a tour of the historic house museum and a hands-on, SOL-based lesson on archaeology. Families will participate in a mock "dig." Kids will have so much fun they won't even know they are learning about observations versus inferences while they use their critical thinking skills to interpret the artifacts they discover. They will also get the chance to hold real artifacts, try and piece together pot sherds, and make a fossil imprint or petroglyph carving to take home. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it in our covered pavilion area in Merchant Park. $5/youth (6-18); adults and children under 6 free. Reservations appreciated.Attachments
