Potomac Nationals vs. Lynchburg Hillcats

The P-Nats wrap up their set with the Hillcats this evening, and there is a lot going on here at the ballpark in addition. There will be an Army vs. Navy Softball game at 3:00, free admission for anyone with a ticket to that night's P-Nats game. In addition, the first 1000 fans will take home a camo-themed t-shirt. The players will be wearing military-camo themed jerseys, and there will be postgame fireworks and kids run the bases afterwards. Attachments

Occoquan Arts and Crafts show

It is the annual spring arts and crafts show in Occoquan. The streets will be closed off to motorist traffic, and vendors will be set up in the streets. Numerous arts and crafts vendors, plus kids activities, make this a must-see event here in Prince William County. Attachments

23rd Annual Heritage Railway Festival

Experience Manassas at its best this June and come out to the 23rd Annual Manassas Heritage Railway Festival. This family celebration of rich railroad history features train memorabilia, specialty vendors, and live performances. Country and blue grass music will transport you, as you watch miniature trains come to life. These elaborate train displays are created by a number of local model train groups. Located under the Harris Pavilion, these displays are a must see. Take your love of trains to a new level by boarding one of our four train excursions to Clifton and back. The first two trains at 10am and 11am will feature Chase from Paw Patrol. Our afternoon trains at 12pm and 1pm will have the Icy Princess. Date of ticket sales to be announced. Attachments

Yoga on the Lawn at Rippon Lodge

Enjoy performing yoga on the lawn with amazing views of the Potomac River and historic Rippon Lodge in the background. No one could ask for a better outdoor venue to exercise. Join certified instructor Christopher Glowacki for an hour long Vinyasa yoga practice. Beginning yoga students to well-versed devotes are welcomed. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, towel and plenty of water; beginners may want to bring a block and/or strap. Classes are offered most Saturday mornings from May to September. Call Rippon Lodge to confirm class day and times. Those purchasing 10 classes will receive punch cards which are good for the whole season. Additional classes may be purchased at any time. Adult Novice Rowing Camp

Looking for a new sport, or just a fun activity? Rowing might be for you! Come find out what it’s all about with Prince William Rowing Club, a masters (adult) competitive and recreational rowing club for men and women in Prince William County! For two weeks, each Novice Camp boat of eight will go out on the water with four experienced rowers and four novice rowers. Rowing with the experienced rowers will allow the novices to leapfrog ahead in the learning process and gain a better feel of the potential that rowing offers. If you love rowing as much as we think you will, we hope you will join us for the entire rowing season! The Novice Camp program consists of six total sessions, Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-8 p.m. and Saturdays 8-10 a.m., May 23-June 3. Cost is $125. Register online. Attachments
