World War I Wednesday 10:00am-12:00pm In commemoration of the Centennial of World War I, the Museum will be hosting WWI Wednesday educational displays the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. Our Education and Community Outreach teams will be displaying WWI German uniforms and gear in Leatherneck Gallery. There will also be a craft for children! MCHF Summer Concert Series featuring U.S. Navy Band's The Sea Chanters 7:00pm-8:30pm The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation is once again hosting a Summer Concert Series at the Museum. Join us for a summer evening of great music by the U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters the United States Navy’s official chorus. The ensemble performs a variety of music ranging from traditional choral music, including sea chanteys and patriotic fare, to opera, Broadway and contemporary music. www.navyband.navy.mil/sea_chanters.html The concert will be performed outside on the Museum's Entry Plaza. Family Day-Girls make History

This month's Family Day theme is GIRLS MAKE HISTORY. Spend the afternoon with Felicity, Molly, Addie, and all their friends while you take a journey through Marine Corps History, from 1775 to the present day. Games, hands-on activities, special guests, and crafts will be on hand as well, making this a wonderful, family day at the Marine Corps Museum. As always, parking and admission are free to the MCM!  

Family Day-"Robotics"

Come on out to the National Museum of the Marine Corps for the monthly Family Day, and this month the theme is Robotics. Discover how the Marine Corps Explosive Ordinance Disposal robots function, and try your hand at operating one. Experts in this field will be on hand to answer any questions. Crafts and hands-on activities will be available, making this a fun, family-friendly day at the Marine Corps Museum. Free admission and free parking!
