National Junior Ranger Day

On National Junior Ranger Day, everyone has the opportunity to become a Junior Ranger and be a truly part of your National Parks. Earn the Junior Ranger badge and certificate by completing one of the special activities available on this day. Hike with a park ranger at 10:45 or at 12:15; craft and create with a park volunteer. Recite the junior ranger pledge at a ceremony to recognize your achievements at 11:30 or at 1. Adults as well as children are welcome. All events begin at the Visitor Center. Earth Day - From Trash to Treasure

Join us to celebrate Earth Day by creating crafts from recyclables goods. Come learn how to make a bird feeder, a basket to organize your room, a reusable shopping bag, and a cookie tray organizer from items found laying around at home. Paws in the Park

The Eagle has Landed

Entrance Fee Free Day for National Public Lands Day

Fee-free days provide a great opportunity to visit a new place or an old favorite. They will give both first time and repeat visitors a good reason to spend time in our national parks. National Public Lands Day is the largest, single-day volunteer effort on behalf of parks and other public lands in the United States of America. OSS Day

Ranger hike will take visitors deep into the forest off-trail to look at an WWII OSS training area. This trek is not accessible for wheelchairs or strollers or babies in backpacks.
