Canoe Tour at Leesylvania

Our canoe tours are designed to help those that are new to canoeing to learn the basics of paddling. Experienced individuals are also encouraged to come to enjoy the wildlife and scenic views. We can support up to 24 people on a tour depending on age, size, and skill set. The cost is $9.00 per person, or $6.00 per person when reserving for groups of 4 or more. Music at the Marina - IR (short for In Remembrance)

Night Owl Hike

You will dissect owl pellets, put together a skeleton, and identify the species of your masterpiece. Later we will share the night at the amphitheater with our nocturnal birds of prey where we will learn about their unique adaptation and the environmental challenges that they face. Entrance Fee Free Day for National Public Lands Day

Fee-free days provide a great opportunity to visit a new place or an old favorite. They will give both first time and repeat visitors a good reason to spend time in our national parks. National Public Lands Day is the largest, single-day volunteer effort on behalf of parks and other public lands in the United States of America. Potomac Blockade Boat Tour

Local historians will discuss the significance of the Blockade and of the gun batteries and camps that supported the Confederate efforts.
