Woodbridge Beer Fest

Join us and our friends from other breweries for the first annual Woodbridge Beer Fest on Saturday, May 27th from 11am-5pm. The festival will be held along the Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center boulevard, between REI and Starbucks. More details will be published as they become available, but go ahead and mark your calendars now. We are bringing the craft beer to you!
Participating breweries (so far): - Adventure Brewing Company - BadWolf Brewing Company - Brew Republic Bierwerks - Fairwinds Brewing Company - Forge Brew Works - Growling Bear Brewing Company - Heroic Aleworks - Ornery Beer Company - Port City Brewing Company - Tin Cannon Brewing Company - Waters End Brewing Company - ... and we will have some wine options too!
There will also be food vendors, live music and other entertainment. Kids are welcome, but will not be able to consume alcohol. In fact, nobody gets to consume alcohol without a wrist band. There are rules.
We will have a wine table so you can bring your wine drinking friends along to enjoy the merriment!
Each adult ticket includes wrist band (for drinking), a commemorative glass, and 12 six-ounce pour beer/wine tickets (beer pours = 1 ticket; wine pours = 2 tickets). Tickets can also be used for root beer and bottled water if you so choose. Each kid ticket includes a plastic cup and all you can drink house-made Brew Republic root beer from the tap, and bottled water. Kid tickets are NOT required for kids to attend.
Additional beer/wine tickets can be purchased for $3 a piece to those with wrist bands. EventBrite advanced sale ticket prices are $40 per adult, $5 for kids (plus tax) when bundled with 2 or more tickets. Individual advanced sale tickets are $41 per adult, $6 for kids (plus tax). Day of event tickets at the gate will cost $45 for adults and $6 for kids, plus sales tax.
VIP TICKETS are also available: For $20, you can upgrade your experience and be treated like a rockstar! You'll get access to the VIP tent, exclusive beers that are only in the VIP tent, one hour early entrance to the festival, compimentary water/soda, a $5 food coupon at Brew Republic, and a cool and shaded place to sit and hang out with brewers and brewery personnel (and other VIPs). The VIP Ticket is only valid with the purchase of a regular Adult Ticket. More details to come. Stay tuned!
History Happy Hour: An Evening at Ben Lomond Historic Site

Looking for a unique way to visit one of Prince William County’s distinctive historic sites? Take part in our new series History Happy Hour! Receive two drink tickets to use over the course of the evening, and come and explore Ben Lomond to learn about the Civil War and medicine. Interact with living history interpreters, take part in a history scavenger hunt, see musket firing demonstrations, and explore the Civil War Hospital without barriers. Reservations are suggested, but not required.
Brews and Brains at Bad Wolf Brewery

The Prince William and Northern Virginia area has a rich social history throughout the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries in which beer played a part. From the role of taverns as a social and political venue throughout the 18th and 19th century, the impact of alcohol throughout the Civil War, to the economic influence of the development of breweries throughout the 20th century and prohibition, alcohol played a role in shaping the area today. Join the Historic Preservation Division and Bad Wolf Brewery as we examine the role of beer throughout American History in this three-part series of lectures, artifacts, and activities.
