Details

While the Bristoe campaign culminated on the afternoon of October 14, 1864 at the Battle of Bristoe Station, another battle earlier in the day had a profound impact on the course of events. With elements of both armies at times cut off, the Battle of Auburn was a small but important battle that set the stage for fighting later in the day. Join local historians for a special in-time walking tour on battlefield land that is not normally accessible to the public.
