Walnut Street Theatre Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery

Sunday, 02/11/2018 7:00 PM

Madcap mastermind Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor and Moon Over Buffalo) reinvents Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s 1902 classic mystery, The Hound of the Baskervilles, into a hilarious romp about everyone’s favorite detective and his most famous case. The male heirs of the Baskerville line are being murdered one by one, and Sherlock Holmes, along with his trusted sidekick Dr. Watson, must work feverishly to crack the mystery of the curse before it dooms the newest heir. With only five energetic actors playing the roles of more than 40 quirky characters, this production from America’s oldest theater company takes the audience on a sidesplitting caper through the Devonshire moors, crowded railway stations, foggy London streets, and gloomy baronial mansions, where the duo searches for clues, runs into dead ends, and puzzles out the truth for the shockingly funny conclusion. Radio Bingo

Thursday, 02/15/2018 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Get a bingo card and a glass of beer (or wine) and keep your ears peeled for the hit Indie songs listed on your card. Do you have the music recognition skills to outlast the competition? You could win major awards! It’s more fun than should be allowed on a Thursday night… but it is… we checked. Here’s how it works: You get a bingo card with your initial purchase of a beer or wine, and additional cards can be purchased for $2 each. The proceeds from the additional cards will go to support wounded warriors through Azalea Charities. Music will play over the speakers, and if you correctly identify the song, and it is on your card, you mark that song. If you get 5 in a row before everyone else, you’ll win a major award. And as an added twist, if two or more people get bingo at the same time, we’ll have a dance-off to determine the winner (by popular vote of course). Visit the taproom every Thursday night 7-9pm to join the fun! Attachments
