NMMC's annual event celebrating the Dog Days of Summer! Bring the kids! There will be crafts, a puppet show and an animal scavenger hunt! Inside the Museum, there will be a Bulldog "Kissing Booth" and birds of prey on display from the Raptor Conservancy of Virginia. Outside, on the grounds of the Museum, visitors will have a chance to see working dogs in action and meet many different animal rescue groups. Organizations in attendance include: State Department Working Dogs MCB Quantico MP Working Dogs Virginia German Shepherd Rescue Lab Rescue of the LRCP (Potomac) Semper K9 Dogs on Deployment Leashes of Valor Stafford Police will be demonstrating their Disaster Animal Trailer Food and drinks from our Devil Dog Diner Dogs are welcome on the grounds of Museum. Please keep dogs on a leash and use "doggie" relief area near the flag pole. Entrance to the Museum and parking are always FREE!
